This role creates value for Alcon by successfully leading the business process elements of the SAP ERP implementation project for the designated LACAR Sites, ensuring the project drives efficiency and facilitates the growth of the business while being completed on time and within budget.
Lead the process elements of the Alcon SAP ERP program, in order to drive standardization and efficiency throughout the organization.
Drives the Change Management necessary to align LACAR to a standard way of operating across all countries in line with the new global standards, subject ONLY to local legal and statutory requirements.
Tightly partner with project ERP IT Leader to co-lead the planning and execution of project.
Facilitate sales and profit growth through improvements to systems, processes, and data analysis.
Enable linkage to Alcon Global Process Transformation. Define, manage and complete the regional project in accordance with plans and budgets throughout all phases, without impacting business continuity.
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including Steering Committee, LACAR Leader-ship Team, Alcon Executive Leadership Team, Alcon Global Services, and other Alcon groups.
Ensures continuous relationship with the business & drives for sustainable process solutions.
Leads global process harmonization and ensures proper decision process with the key business stakeholders.
Responsible for obtaining and retaining appropriate business resources.
Ensures that business benefits defined by the Steering Committee are realized.
Provides complex, contextual advice in order to influence actions of internal and/or external partners.
Frequently advises peers and senior parties on complex issues, and creates new concepts.
Directs outputs of a large team, major project or business activity, often across geographical boundaries.
Through internal and external interaction, provides interpretation of complex information and effectively influences the most positive long-term outcome for LACAR and Alcon.
Considers competing organizational needs and anticipates how other stakeholders and external contacts impact progress and priorities.
Translates organizational vision into functional and departmental plans and guides their execution.
Recommends solutions to issues, which require detailed interpretation and conceptual thinking to understand complex issues and their implications.
Ensures problems are clearly defined and sufficient information is made available for effective solutions.
