Accountable for the consolidation, control, execution, and governance of the Global Distribution project management. Contributes tactically and operationally to change in the Global Distribution in alignment with Global Supply chain, commercial, and optimization. Manages individual projects as well as program management of global projects. In a synchronized way with the Global Transportation.
Global Distribution Program Manager (PMO)
Developing and continuously refining the Global Distribution network to align with current and future Alcon needs as well as alignment with Global Supply Chain Strategy.
Translates project request and ideas into work-streams to evaluate project requirements and as well as conducting initial financial analysis.
Prepares and maintains individual project plans as well as consolidated Global projects through program management
Completes or contributes to financial request (CAR) and ensures project adherence to funding and time lines
Drive process improvements, distribution network design, and contract negotiations
Perform Cost Improvement Process workshops with each distribution center to identify savings opportunities and work with the centers to execute
Provide Program management training and support as needed (Analytics, PMO, Sourcing, etc...)
Define priorities, monitor progress, and support escalation on work-stream initiatives and ensure consistency among them.
Ensure and drive consistent communication across the local/regional and global dimension of Global Supply Chain on key initiatives, business updates and other needs
Consolidate project statuses into Executive level summaries and lead report-outs to ELT members
Track projects through project management tools and report status utilizing various Microsoft tools (Powerpoint, Excel, Project etc...)

Program Manager, Global Distribution
Bachelors Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
7 Years of Relevant Experience 5 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
Experience in Supply Chain, leading substantial implementation projects preferred
