Your new role
Reporting directly to senior leaders within the practice, you will manage a portfolio of business clients across a range of industries while providing proactive accounting and taxation advice.Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for a broad range of entities
- Reviewing work completed by junior team members
- Assisting with tax planning and business advisory engagements
- Identifying opportunities to improve client outcomes
- Supporting and mentoring graduate and intermediate accountants
- Working closely with Partners on complex client matters
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- CA or CPA qualification (or close to completion)
- 4+ years' experience within Australian public practice accounting
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax and accounting standards
- Experience managing client relationships independently
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- The ability to review work and mentor junior staff
- Clear pathway towards Manager-level responsibilities
