An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to join a well-established and growing organisation based in Southport. Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you will be responsible for the administration and processing of customer accounts across a diverse portfolio.This is a varied role that combines accounts receivable, administration, customer service and compliance responsibilities.

Your new role

Manage the day-to-day administration of allocated customer accounts.

Process, receipt and maintain customer accounts and payment records.

Prepare and manage billing, including utilities and other service charges.

Establish and maintain customer account files and update internal systems accurately.

Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances, arrears and dishonoured payments.

Liaise with customers regarding account queries and payment arrangements.

Prepare correspondence for new and departing customers, including approvals, notifications and information requests.

Assist with fee review processes, including calculations, data updates, system maintenance and customer communications.

Prepare compliance documentation and notices where required.

Review and process agreements and associated documentation prior to management approval.

Perform banking functions and general administrative duties.

What you need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable, Finance Administration or Property Administration role.

Strong understanding of billing, receipting, collections and account maintenance.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong numerical and reconciliation skills.

Highly developed organisational and time management abilities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

A professional, confidential and customer-focused approach.

The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
