Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to commence ASAP in a temporary role within a well established and respected northern suburbs organisation.
Our client is experiencing an ever-increasing workload while undergoing transformational change.
This is a great opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer who can hit the ground running and be a part of a motivated finance team with a supportive & collaborative culture!
The Role
Reporting to a motivational and caring Accounts Payable Manager you will be responsible for end-to-end accounts payable duties.
Some typical duties will involve:
- High volume processing of supplier invoices
- Coding and matching invoices to Purchase Orders
- Supplier & internal query resolution
- Reconciliations
- Assist with overdue invoices and potential duplicate payments
- Assisting with internal reporting
This position will give you exposure to a large organisation undergoing a period of growth and change.
Your Profile
To be successful you will have proven experience in a high volume, fast-paced role. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and hit KPIs
Essential for this opportunity will be proven experience with a large ERP System (SAP/Oracle/Tech One).
