Job description
Charterhouse are working with NSW Government on the lookout for an experienced
Property Officer /
Asset Performance Officer to support the delivery of maintenance contracts across NSW.
Benefits & Pay:
Pay: $69.89ph + super
Location: Hybrid working, with travel across NSW (accommodation provided, where required)
Contract length: This role will be offered as an initial
6 month contract with the possibility of extension.
Position Duties:
This position will support the local administration and delivery of maintenance contracts, primarily through the preparation of office estimates and by contributing to development of the Quarterly Program of Works.
- Plans and manages a maintenance program of planned maintenance using Property Assessment Survey (PAS) data and local knowledge, for the housing portfolio's allocated properties
- Administers contracts: prepares office estimates, attends site visits when needed, and supports contractor quotation negotiations
- Makes sure work is delivered properly, with fixes in place when issues come up
- Scopes exceptional/statutory work (e.g. disability modifications), working with professionals like Occupational Therapists
- Keeps work compliant with the Building Code of Australia, LAHC standards, and Contract Guidelines
Experience & Qualifications:
- Sound building experience or exposure, together with experience in contract administration including preparing quotations or estimates
- Ideally a trade background; building, construction or other
- Knowledge of Contract requirements
- Current working knowledge of the Australian Building Codes
