About the role:

Our Melbourne Indirect Tax team is growing and we are looking to hire talented professionals across various levels, whether you're early in your career or an experienced Manager seeking a fresh challenge.

Across these opportunities, you'll work on a broad mix of indirect tax advisory, compliance and consulting matters, supporting clients across a range of industries and gaining exposure to meaningful, high-impact work

Depending on your experience, you will:

• Provide practical, commercial indirect tax advice to clients, across GST, stamp duty, fuel tax credits, customs and excise (note, experience across all areas is not required)
• Assist with the delivery of tax governance engagements
• Research legislation, case law and regulatory guidance
• Build and manage client relationships and engagements
• Support the implementation of AI and automation tools to assist in the delivery of client deliverables
• Support or lead client deliverables, budgets and timelines
• Identify opportunities to add value to clients' businesses
• Contribute to team development, mentoring junior staff (Senior Analyst / Manager level)
• Play a role in business development and internal training initiatives

About you:

We welcome applications from professionals at Analyst, Senior Analyst and Manager level who are passionate about indirect tax and want to grow their career in a supportive environment.

You will bring:

• Experience in indirect tax or a related role within professional services
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• A degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or similar
• A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn
• Ability to manage client relationships and deliver outcomes
• Strong communication skills and commercial acumen
• Experience mentoring or leading team members is desirable
• CA/CPA qualification (or working towards / completed)
