WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You'll join our FRWD experts within the Marketing Excellence practice. FRWD is our marketing acceleration capability, made up of a 100-person community of expert practitioners who partner with clients-and their agencies-to drive meaningful business results and transformation.

We're a team of seasoned professionals from some of the world's leading in-house marketing teams, agencies, and technology platforms. Our work is rooted in real marketplace expertise and focused on delivering actionable insights and transformative outcomes. While we are not an agency, our collaborative, impact-oriented approach helps clients tackle their most pressing marketing challenges.

WHERE YOU'LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM

As a FRWD Expert Consultant, you'll play a critical role in integrated casework, driving key workstreams and contributing to client results. You'll work directly with client teams and cross-functional peers, leveraging data, platform expertise, and insights to inform and accelerate marketing strategies.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

At Bain, we work with change-oriented executives and their management teams to deliver tangible value. As an Expert Consultant, you'll be part of a blended team of experts and general consultants, taking a hypothesis-led approach to problem-solving and insight generation.

Your insights will help shape marketing investment decisions, organizational structures and operating models, and capability roadmaps that support our clients' growth ambitions.

In this role, you'll:

• Drive key marketing-focused workstreams with support from the leadership team
• Partner with consultants in a blended team structure
• Apply deep expertise in a specific marketing domain, such as a platform, channel, or industry
• Conduct in-platform analysis to develop insights and testing plans
• Deliver high-quality, zero-defect materials and outputs that exceed client expectations
• Clearly communicate how your workstream contributes to the broader marketing strategy
• Present insights and recommendations directly to change-oriented executives and their leadership teams, translating complex analysis into compelling narratives that drive decisions
• Mentor and direct junior case team members
• Contribute to FRWD's internal initiatives and recruiting efforts

ABOUT YOU

Must Have:

• 5+ years of hands-on marketing experience in agency, brand, in-house, or platform environments
• A track record of hands-on experience across performance media platforms such as Facebook/Instagram, Google Ads, YouTube, and programmatic media, including tools such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, YouTube, and DV360
• Exposure to web and app analytics, with an understanding of customer journeys, funnels, and conversion levers
• Ability to connect brand and performance marketing and design measurement frameworks to understand full-funnel impact
• Strong capability to design, execute, and optimize campaigns against key performance indicators, including return on ad spend (ROAS), click-through rate (CTR), cost per thousand impressions (CPM), and cost per acquisition (CPA)
• Strong understanding of audience segmentation, targeting strategies, creative testing, and budget allocation
• Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Firebase, AppsFlyer, or Mixpanel
• Ability to identify and recommend optimization opportunities that improve conversion rates, reduce drop-offs, and enhance user experience
• Demonstrable commercial impact, with specific examples of driving revenue growth, cost efficiency, or measurable improvements in marketing performance
• A hypothesis-driven mindset, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems quickly, form an early point of view, and pressure-test it against data
• Clear, confident communication and strong organizational skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree

Nice to Have:

• Certifications in relevant digital platforms, such as Facebook Blueprint, Google Ads, Amazon Ads, The Trade Desk, or Adobe
• Graduate or advanced degree
• Experience in financial services, including banking, insurance, or wealth management
• Experience in marketing operations, due diligence, or e-commerce acceleration
