To strengthen our team, we are currently looking to recruit an Experienced Employment Tax Consultant with experience in tax & reward advisory .

• You are part of a diverse team of tax, international mobility and broader reward specialists
• You provide high quality and in-depth tax and reward advice to your clients relating to international mobility, compensation & benefits and reward. You can specialize in advising in both a national as well as an international context, in international companies as well as the larger private companies. Topics you advise on, can range from (international) employment tax and broader tax and legal compliance, executive compensation, equity incentives, remuneration structuring, in-depth tax advisory, such as for example author rights, investment plans, tax rulings, ... You are able to leverage this knowledge when coordinating with clients on a global or regional level.
• You are part of a client service team dedicated to delivering integrated, multidisciplinary in-depth tax, HR & Reward solutions to both large multinational and local clients
• You build close relationships with your clients' stakeholders such as Tax, HR, payroll, reward, global mobility and top executives
• You have ownership of day-to-day deliverables to your clients, you are able to apply in-depth knowledge of your files
• You conduct client meetings in a professional and confident way
• You supervise and coach more junior team members on a daily basis and develop high-performing people and teams through challenging and meaningful opportunities
• You understand the key objectives for clients and Deloitte, you align people to objectives and you set priorities and direction
• You plan and execute the projects in accordance with the clients specifications, the agreed contract, program schedule and Deloitte's highest quality standards and client service mindset

Let's talk about you

• You have relevant experience (3 to 6 years) with employment tax as a (tax) consultant/advisor/lawyer. Master's degree; a postgraduate degree in tax is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and Dutch/French.
• Open, creative, entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, and flexible mindset.
• Client service mindset, able to pro-actively manage client expectations.
• Good planning and project management skills, able to manage multiple tasks within set timeframes.
• You are willing to invest in a work environment full of opportunities
• You are used to work in a challenging environment and are stress resistant
• You have a hands-on approach and are enthusiastic, flexible and positive
• You are eager to learn and solve complex (international) tax queries regarding employer tax matters. Interest in corporate tax, social law or finance is a plus
• You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt quickly to changing circumstances
• You have a proactive attitude and take initiative to identify and solve problems
• You can work collaboratively with others and are eager to train and assist more junior staff
