Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Quant Developer to join our quantitative research and trading team. This role bridges the gap between quantitative analysts and trading infrastructure, focusing on designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance applications that support research, trading strategies, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with quantitative researchers and traders to implement and optimize mathematical models and trading strategies.
- Design, develop, and maintain low-latency, high-performance trading systems and analytical tools.
- Build robust data pipelines for market data acquisition, cleansing, and processing.
- Optimize existing code for speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Conduct code reviews, implement unit tests, and enforce best development practices.
- Ensure system stability and troubleshoot production issues in a timely manner.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and apply relevant tools to enhance system capabilities.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related quantitative discipline.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and/or Python; familiarity with Java, C#, or other languages is a plus.
- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
- Hands-on experience with large-scale data processing and time-series data.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
