Responsabilities
Deutsche Bank is seeking a Vice President with strong drive and ambition to help accelerate the growth of our Public Sector franchise in France, while also contributing to strategic initiatives across Europe. This role, part of the Corporate Bank team, focuses on identifying new business opportunities, originating transactions, cultivating and managing client relationships, and partnering with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions for public sector clients.
In this position, you will support the origination of profitable opportunities with Public Sector bodies and corporations in France. You will provide clients with full access to the Corporate Bank's expertise and solutions - including Cash Management, Trade Finance & Lending, FX & Risk Management Solutions, and Trust & Securities Services - working closely with product partners and regional teams.
As an Originator - Public Sector Coverage, you are responsible for:
• Develop and maintain senior relationships with Public Sector clients in France.
• Advise Public Sector clients across Corporate Bank products, with a strong focus on Cash Management, Trade Finance, Lending and Risk Management solutions.
• Originate and manage new-to-bank and existing Public Sector relationships, leveraging personal networks and coordinating coverage across the full product offering.
• Drive revenue growth by increasing wallet share and identifying cross-sell opportunities, including collaboration with Investment Banking teams.
• Lead and coordinate deal origination, credit approval processes and client strategies in close partnership with European coverage, Credit Risk and AFC teams.
Skills
• Demonstrated ability to originate and manage Public Sector client relationships within the French institutional ecosystem.
• Strong knowledge of Corporate Banking solutions, including Cash Management, Trade Finance, Lending and Risk Management.
• Solid quantitative and analytical skills, with sound understanding of KYC, Anti-Money Laundering and credit processes.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior internal and external decision-makers.
• Native-level French is essential, with professional proficiency in English.
