• As Release Manager you lead end-to-end release management across multiple Agile teams - from planning and coordination to deployment and post-release activities
• You manage the integrated release calendar and ensure alignment of milestones, dependencies, deployment windows, and environment readiness
• Release scope for enhancements, defect fixes, integrations, security updates, and production support lies in your hands
• Governance processes you facilitate - readiness reviews, approvals, go/no-go decisions, and stakeholder communications
• Cross-functional collaboration helps you manage dependencies, resolve blockers, and ensure on-time delivery
• Release risks and issues you monitor and mitigate to maintain quality, stability, and schedule adherence
• Deployment readiness you ensure through configuration management, data migrations, validation, testing, and sign-off processes
• Release documentation, runbooks, rollback plans, and operational handover materials - you keep them current and accessible

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

• You have proven release management experience e.g. in planning, dependency management, change control, and production readiness

Level of minimal experience

3-5 years

Experience

• Experience in Agile software development with a product-focused mindset you bring along

Required skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in german and english characterize you
• You are analytical, structured, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership
• You are a resilient team player with a proactive and collaborative approach

Technical skills required

• REST APIs, databases, and the software development lifecycle are familiar to you
• Knowledge of SDLC, release governance, migration practices, configuration management, risk management, and operational support
• You have proficiency with Jira and Confluence
