Our activities span business development, investment execution, portfolio management and strategic support for infrastructure assets across Europe.
We are looking for a highly motivated Intern to join our team as soon as possible
for a period of 4–6 months. This role offers unique exposure to the full infrastructure investment lifecycle and direct interaction with senior investment professionals, management teams and investors.
Successful candidates may have the opportunity to join R3AMP as a full-time Analyst following their internship in 2027.
Your Role
As part of our investment and asset management team, you will work directly with the Managing Partners and investment professionals on live transactions, portfolio company initiatives and business development activities.
You will gain hands-on exposure to the infrastructure private equity industry and contribute to projects that have a direct impact on investment decisions and portfolio performance.
Key Responsibilities
From day one, you will assume meaningful responsibilities across business development, asset management and investment activities, including:
- Identification and evaluation of potential investment opportunities
- Support of business development initiatives and deal sourcing activities
- Market research and commercial analysis across infrastructure sectors
- Support of transaction execution and due diligence processes
- Development of financial models and investment analyses
- Monitoring and assessment of portfolio company performance
- Support of value creation and strategic initiatives across portfolio companies
- Preparation of investment committee, board and shareholder materials
Your Profile
We are looking for exceptional candidates who demonstrate:
- Outstanding academic performance at a leading university or business school
- Availability for at least 4 months, preferably 6 months
- Prior internship experience in investment banking, private equity, infrastructure investing, strategy consulting, corporate development or related fields
- Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities
- Solid understanding of corporate finance and investment analysis
- Entrepreneurial mindset and strong commercial judgment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- High level of ownership, attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
- Fluency in German and English
