About the Role



We are seeking an analytical and principled Global Ethics & Compliance Investigations Expert to oversee business ethics, anti-fraud initiatives, and compliance investigations across our European operations.



In this role, you will independently or collaboratively conduct fact-finding inquiries into alleged misconduct, ensure all actions align with EU and local legal frameworks - including labor laws, employee data privacy, and whistleblower protection directives - drive case resolutions and risk remediations, and firmly safeguard the company's integrity baseline.



Key Responsibilities



• Case Investigations & Fact-FindingHandle internal whistleblowing allegations and investigative leads across Europe. Lead or participate in end-to-end investigations into commercial bribery, misappropriation of assets, conflicts of interest, and significant Code of Conduct violations - including gathering evidence, conducting witness and subject interviews, and drafting formal investigation reports.



• Procedural Compliance & Lawful ExecutionStrictly follow local legal procedures to ensure that all evidence gathering is lawful, due process is respected, and the investigative chain of custody is defensible.



• Integrity Mechanisms & Risk RemediationServe as the regional integrity anchor, maintaining close collaboration with the Global HQ Compliance team. Identify compliance vulnerabilities within business operations, conduct periodic or targeted compliance reviews, and drive business-side remediations based on gaps identified during investigations.



• Integrity Culture & Mindset BuildingIn line with European workplace culture, organize and promote business ethics awareness campaigns. Cultivate a transparent, healthy, and robust "Speak-Up" workplace culture across European business teams.




Position Requirement



Qualifications & Requirements



• Education



Bachelor's degree or above in Law, Auditing, Finance, or a related discipline.



• Experience



5+ years of professional experience in corporate ethics & compliance, anti-fraud investigations, financial audit, or relevant practice within reputable advisory firms or law firms.



• Technical Knowledge



Solid understanding of common business fraud patterns and investigation methodologies; familiarity with EU/German employment law principles and GDPR/employee data privacy boundaries in an investigative context.



• Core Competencies



Highest standards of professional integrity and confidentiality; strong analytical thinking, interviewing skills, and resilience under pressure; proven ability to resolve complex and sensitive issues; excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.



Language Skills



• German: Fluent or native proficiency - capable of independently conducting interviews, reviewing local evidence and legal documents, and communicating with employees



• English: Professional working proficiency - the working language for global reporting and cross-border collaboration



• Mandarin Chinese: Conversational or basic working proficiency is a strong advantage for day-to-day alignment with HQ
