Your team
Pictet Wealth Management combines more than 200 years of Swiss banking heritage with global investment expertise. The Partner-owned financial services group offers comprehensive support for wealthy individuals and families, including discretionary and advisory investment solutions and family office services.
You will work closely with our bankers and fellow Investment Specialists to build lasting investment partnerships and deliver a distinctive investment experience tailored to each client's needs and geographic circumstances. You will also support bankers in their business development efforts by identifying and presenting the most appropriate investment solutions and encouraging clients with non-managed accounts to consider actively managed options.
We are looking for a (Senior) Investment Specialist (m/f/d) to strengthen our team in Frankfurt am Main.
Your role
• to work with bankers to identify and develop new business opportunities within the existing client base and contribute to marketing initiatives to help convert prospects into clients.
• to help determine clients' needs and prepare investment and advisory proposals and portfolio reviews.
• to execute trade orders and confirm execution to clients, either directly or through assistants.
• to develop, promote and retain discretionary mandates, while seeking to centralise their management.
• to oversee advisory mandates, streamline positions and exposure, and ensure that they remain consistent with the bank's overall investment strategy and policy.
• to maintain a strong compliance culture and ensure effective compliance and risk management by adhering to all relevant local laws, regulatory requirements, in-house directives and procedures.
Your profile
• Bachelor's degree required; a postgraduate qualification such as a Master's degree, MBA, CIIA or CFA would be an advantage.
• At least ten years' experience in investment advisory/management; client-facing experience is a must.
• Ideally, experience across asset classes, with a focus on equities, derivatives and structured products; knowledge of alternative investments would be an advantage.
• Native or near-native command of German and excellent command of English are required.
• Excellent technical knowledge of asset classes, investment vehicles and discretionary and advisory mandate offerings.
• Excellent understanding of portfolio construction, investment processes and risk management approaches.
• IT-proficiency, including knowledge of relevant software packages, online information systems, front-end management and order-placing systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, Bloomberg, Avaloq, Profolio, etc.).
• Strong client-focused attitude and capacity to work under pressure.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Proven team player with the ability to work independently.
