CBRE Frankfurt am Main, Germany
Sr. Asset Management Analyst, Logistics (fluent in German)
We are looking for a Senior Asset Management Analyst Logistics to join our Frankfurt-based team within CBRE Investment Management's Logistics Operator division. Reporting to the Head of Asset Management Logistics, Germany, you will play an active role in supporting Asset Managers in managing a high-quality institutional logistics portfolio across Germany.

This is a hands-on role spanning the full asset management lifecycle: from leasing and capex execution to financial reporting, valuations, and portfolio repositioning in one of Europe's most strategically important logistics real estate markets.

Your key responsibilities:

Asset Management & Operations

  • Support and lead day-to-day asset management activities across the logistics portfolio, ensuring assets meet financial and operational performance targets
  • Monitor key lease events including expiries, break options, rent reviews, and renewals, and drive timely action to protect and enhance income
  • Coordinate with property managers, technical advisors, and other service providers to maintain operational excellence and cost efficiency
  • Manage capex programs, refurbishments, and ESG-related initiatives from planning through to completion

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain asset-level business plans and financial models, including DCF analysis, IRR, and cash flow projections
  • Contribute to the quarterly and annual valuation process; review external valuations for accuracy and consistency
  • Produce regular asset management reports for internal stakeholders and external investors
  • Track KPIs, NOI performance, and budget variances, identifying issues and escalating proactively

Leasing & Value Creation

  • Support leasing processes including coordination with leasing agents and negotiations in collaboration with legal advisors
  • Identify value-add opportunities through asset repositioning and lease restructuring
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to create leasing strategies

Stakeholder Coordination & Governance

  • Liaise with internal teams across Portfolio Management, Finance, Legal, Transactions, and ESG
  • Maintain accurate records in internal asset management systems, ensuring full documentation compliance
  • Support fund governance including preparation of investment committee papers and asset management updates

What we offer you: Investment Analyst Training Program

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in our Investment Analyst Training Program, offering hands-on exposure to real estate portfolio management, transaction management, and asset management. The program fosters global connections across the firm and builds a strong understanding of the CBRE IM framework, supporting long-term growth within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree ideally in Economics, Finance, Investment or Real Estate
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in real estate asset management, investment management, or property advisory (logistics/industrial sector experience strongly preferred)
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Strong analytical skills and a well-developed critical mindset
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic, ambition and a proactive, independent approach to your work
  • Self-confidence, a high level of commitment, team spirit and flexibility
  • Advanced financial modelling skills
  • Strong Excel skills and proficiency with standard office software (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Comfortable using AI tools (e.g. CoPilot, Claude/ Ellis AI - CBRE's internal GenAI platform) to support daily workflows and improve efficiency
