Sales Development Representative - Dutch Market (m/w/d)

About the team
SumUp is one of the fastest-growing fintechs in Europe - and our SDR team in Cologne is at the heart of that growth. We're looking for a Dutch-speaking SDR to help us grow our presence in the Netherlands: someone who's comfortable picking up the phone, starting real conversations with business owners, and creating pipeline that our sales team can close. No rigid scripts, no micromanagement - just clear targets, plenty of ownership, and a team that wants you to succeed.
What you'll do
- Reach out to business owners in the Netherlands through outbound calls, emails, and other channels to generate qualified appointments
- Start conversations, understand how businesses manage their payments, and identify where SumUp can add value
- Qualify prospects and hand over opportunities with clear, well-documented notes so the sales team has everything they need
- Keep CRM records accurate and up to date across activity, pipeline, and progress
- Hit - and ideally beat - weekly and monthly activity and appointment targets
You'll be great for this role if...
- You speak Dutch fluently or at native level, and have a good working level of English for our international team.
- You're a confident communicator who's comfortable speaking with new people every day.
- You're target-driven and take full ownership of your own performance.
- You're organised and consistent - you understand that good sales results come from doing the basics well, every day.
- You're coachable, open to feedback, and genuinely interested in getting better.
