Job description
Reporting directly to the Head of Credit Risk, the Senior Credit Risk Manager will assume end-to-end strategic ownership of the bank's retail credit portfolio, data infrastructure and portfolio analytics framework. This pivotal role blends hands-on data expertise with leadership to drive the portfolio grwoth, ensure robust model governance, and directly influence the bank's credit strategies.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide data-driven insights to direct credit strategy and shape credit product development and portfolio management.
• Lead the development, enhancement, and optimization of the credit data warehouse. Establish, implement, and maintain rigorous data standards and governance requirements to ensure data integrity.
• Design and deploy a comprehensive credit risk monitoring mechanism for the credit loan portfolios. Establish early-warning Risk Indicators and automated MI reports.
• Proactively monitor and analyze the credit portfolio to identify emerging risk trends, shifts in customer behavior, and potential delinquency/default vectors. Conduct deep-dive segment analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Serve as the custodian for credit model governance. Act as the key liaison working closely with internal model development and independent validation teams to ensure compliance and model accuracy.
Job Requirement
• 7+ years of relevant experience in credit risk analytics or portfolio management within the banking sector.
• Proficiency in SQL or Python is a must.
• In-depth understanding of Hong Kong Retail loan market and the relevant regulatory requirements.
• University degree holder in a quantitative or business-related field
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
• Ability to work independently, manage complex projects under tight timelines, and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced banking environment.
• Candidate with less experiences might be considered as Manager role.
