About Our Client

Our client is a financial services business, who are looking to expand their Legal & Compliance team by hiring a new headcount.

Job Description

As Assistant Manager (Legal & Compliance), your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing legal and compliance advice to support business operations.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and legal documents.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. data privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property), and internal policies.
• Conducting legal research and providing updates on relevant regulations, such as cybersecurity law.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of compliance frameworks.
• Handling regulatory filings and maintaining accurate legal records.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will ideally hold a law degree (or from related discipline) and have at least 2+ years of experience working in financial services, fintech or law firms where you have gained knowledge in related technology law including data privacy, cybersecurity, fintech, etc.

The candidate must be able to communicate in English and Cantonese, whilst Mandarin will be an advantage.
