A high-performing trading firm is growing its data engineering capability, focused on building scalable, cloud-native data infrastructure supporting live trading.
You’ll work on large-scale data lakehouse architecture, handling high volumes of concurrent data access across regions.
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve a distributed data lakehouse platform
- Develop and optimise Python data pipelines
- Design scalable data models for analytics and research
- Improve performance across cloud and database layers
- Maintain strong data quality and validation frameworks
- Deliver bespoke data solutions for research and trading use
Requirements
- 5+ years in data engineering / platform builds
- Strong Python and SQL
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS ideal)
- Understanding of distributed systems and performance
- Self-sufficient, structured problem solver
