Job Responsibilities

1. Act as Product controller, responsible for daily P&L and regulatory reporting / balance sheet for equity derivatives
2. Take responsibility for the timely and accurate calculation, valuation, verification, and reporting of daily and month-end financial reports, collaborating closely with the front office
3. Engage in month-end consolidation, reconciliations and the closing process as well as prepare and review monthly regulatory reports (FRR)
4. Responsible for accounting setup for equity derivatives products (including TRS, options) , and drive process improvements to enhance internal controls
5. Liaise with auditors to handle the year end as well as tax representatives to handle the tax filings
6. Prepare presentation materials that include analytics and insights for senior management meetings
7. Give sound advice on financial structuring for business deals
8. Lead and mentor team members' performance meet or even go beyond company's expectation
9. Participates with special projects (e.g. globalization project)
10. Seek and drive improvement initiatives in finance operations to boost effectiveness and efficiency

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in financial reporting in financial industry
2. CPA or equivalent certification is a must
3. Proficient in technical and product knowledge related to equity derivatives, TRS, Options
4. Strong understanding of HKFRS/IFRS accounting standards and proficient in collecting and analyzing financial data efficiently and solid Knowledge of SFC rules and FRR
5. Experience with Big4 is a plus
6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
7. High standards of work ethics, professional integrity, and adherence to internal control policies
8. Proven leadership capabilities and strong interpersonal skills; a good team player
9. Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Manager
