My client in the fintech industry is looking for a FC to join their team. They prefer candidates with Big 4 + Fintech experience.
Job Description
As a Financial Controller, your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing financial reporting and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes within the Accounting & Finance department.
- Providing strategic financial advice to support business decision-making.
- Monitoring and analyzing financial performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
- Implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Managing audits and liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Leading and mentoring a team of finance professionals to achieve departmental goals.
A successful FC should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Big 4 + Fintech/Brokerage experience
- People management experience
- Strong knowledge of financial services industry practices and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
