Responsibilities :
1. Business Leadership: Overall management and strategy execution for the SFC Type 9 licensed entity.
2. Investment & Portfolio Management: Oversee portfolio management activities, market research, and investment strategies across multi-asset / fixed income classes.
3. Fund Setup & Operation: Drive new product development tailored to market opportunities.
4. Operational Excellence: Optimize daily operational workflows and trading/settlement processes to maximize efficiency.
5. Compliance & Risk Governance: Lead the establishment and continuous enhancement of compliance and risk management frameworks to ensure adherence to SFC regulations.
6. Team & Resource Management: Oversee daily team management, talent acquisition, and resource allocation for new business lines.
7. Business Development Alignment: Partner closely with Sales/Distribution teams to refine target client acquisition strategies and market positioning.
Requirements :
1. Qualifications: Currently holding or eligible for SFC Type 9 Responsible Officer (RO) license in Hong Kong.
2. Experience: Minimum 7 years of solid asset management experience in Hong Kong capital markets. Proven track record in managing offshore funds independently.
3. Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of Chinese background SFC Type 9 business models, differentiated market positioning, and offshore fund setup (prior experience with Chinese public funds or boutique offshore asset managers is highly preferred).
4. Investment Capability: Strong research and portfolio management expertise in Multi-Asset, Fixed Income, or related asset classes.
5. Governance & Leadership: Thorough understanding of Hong Kong financial regulations (SFO, SFC codes) and risk management standards. Strong leadership and team management skills with a solid network of industry contacts.
