A multi-billion-dollar China-based quant fund is launching a brand-new high-frequency proprietary trading platform, and hiring its founding lead. This is a ground-floor build: you own the book, run the P&L, and shape a new desk from day one, backed by an established firm's capital and infrastructure.

What you'll do

1. Own the full strategy lifecycle: market and instrument selection, research, validation, implementation, launch and post-launch review
2. Research high-frequency equity, ETF and/or futures strategies at holding periods of 30 minutes or less, globally or focused on US or APAC
3. Run your own book and P&L with real autonomy over what launches, gets redesigned, or gets stopped
4. Build on a shared, firm-wide codebase, common data, signals, execution and research infrastructure that the whole team contributes to and draws from, rather than a walled-off pod
5. Build a disciplined process around liquidity, leverage, costs, capacity, risk and shifting regimes, alongside quant devs, traders and infra colleagues

What you'll bring

1. Experience gained only at tier-1 quantitative houses (top systematic hedge funds or elite proprietary trading firms); non-negotiable
2. Genuine HFT depth, with hands-on experience researching, launching or running strategies at sub-30-minute horizons
3. A clear track record of turning research into a live book
4. Strong systematic experience in equities, futures or both
5. Professional Mandarin (required)
