Job Description

As a Legal Director, your main responsibilities will include:

Providing legal advice and guidance on a range of matters for the Global Markets business.
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and other legal documents related to Equity Derivative, Brokerage and Wealth Management
Advise stakeholders on legal, regulatory, and governance matters across regulated financial services activities.
Identify and manage legal and regulatory risks, providing practical solutions that support business growth while maintaining compliance

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Counsel should have:

Approximately 10+ years of post-qualification experience gained in private practice and/or in-house within the financial services sector.
Experience supporting regulated financial institutions and advising on global markets, brokerage, equity derivative or wealth management matters.
Proven leadership capability with experience managing teams or mentoring junior lawyers.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in English and Chinese.
