Job Title: Loan Originator – Wealth Management

Location: Central, Hong Kong

Background

Our wealth management platform combines investment advisory, structured lending, and family office services to deliver holistic financial solutions. With strong financial backing and a growing client base across Asia, we are expanding our structured credit offering to complement our wealth management services. This role will strengthen origination capabilities and deepen client relationships in Hong Kong and Singapore.

Summary:

The Loan Originator will leverage existing professional networks and client relationships to source and structure financing opportunities. Working closely with wealth advisors and product specialists, the role ensures that lending solutions are seamlessly integrated into broader wealth management strategies.

Responsibilities:

1. Originate structured loan opportunities through auditors, lawyers, and professional networks.
2. Provide tailored financing solutions including senior secured, mezzanine, asset-backed credit, and cash flow financing.
3. Collaborate with wealth advisors to align lending solutions with clients’ overall investment and estate planning strategies.
4. Target high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and mid-sized corporates in Greater China.
5. Maintain and expand client relationships, ensuring long-term engagement and trust.
6. Partner with colleagues across multiple offices to deliver seamless execution of transactions.
7. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal risk management standards.

Requirements:

1. Experience: Minimum 10 years of direct experience in loan origination, corporate finance, or structured lending within a wealth management or private banking environment.
2. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of structured credit, wealth management products, and regional lending markets.
3. Network: Established client and contact base among auditors, lawyers, family offices, and corporates.
4. Skills: Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and structuring capabilities.
5. Location Flexibility: Based in Hong Kong or Singapore, with regional exposure preferred.
6. Other typical requirements, such as degree holder, fluent in English, preferably with Mandarin / Cantonese proficiency (both read and spoken) is ideal but not essential.
