A rapidly growing global multi-strategy hedge fund is looking for a Quantitative Python Developer to join its central engineering team in Hong Kong. Reporting directly to the Asia Head of Engineering , you'll build applications and tools that are used acrosstrading, risk, operations, treasury and quantitative research - giving you a level of visibility and commercial impact that's difficult to find elsewhere.
What you'll be building:
- Python applications that support trading, research and investment decision-making
- Analytics and risk tooling used by Portfolio Managers and trading teams
- Internal platforms that improve operational efficiency and trading workflows
- Scalable solutions that connect technology, data and the front office
- Greenfield projects that directly influence how the engineering platform evolves
We're looking for engineers who have:
- Around 2-6 years of professional Python development experience
- Strong Computer Science or quantitative foundations
- Experience writing clean, production-quality code
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with both technical and business stakeholders
- A genuine interest in solving complex commercial problems
- Excellent English communication skills
