We are partnering with several leading global financial firms looking for KDB+/q Developers. These roles sit within high-performing electronic trading and analytics teams. You will help build and maintain large, real-time market data systems used directly by traders, researchers, and compliance teams.




Location & Visa Support

• Hong Kong Roles: Opportunities are available on-site in Hong Kong.

• Expert KDB+/q Skills: Deep knowledge of the q language and kdb+ tick architecture.


• Fast Code: Ability to write highly optimized code that processes data instantly.


• Big Data Handling: Experience querying and analyzing huge amounts of market ad trade data.


• Platform Building: Skills to design systems for real-time data capture and data access.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with researchers (quants) and tech teams to build useful tools.


• API Development: Create and improve APIs and shared software components.


• Automation: Automate system tests, software builds, and performance tracking.


• Testing: Use test-driven methods (TDD/BDD) to check software before it goes live.

• Math & Finance Basics: Understanding of basic statistics and how trading data works.


• Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to fix complex data issues quickly.


• Good Communication: Ability to explain technical ideas to global team members.
