Job Title: Settlement Operations Officer
Location: Central, Hong Kong
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform daily settlement operations, including Hong Kong equities, US stocks, A/B-shares, China Connect, and bonds
- Ensure post-trade processing and reconciliations are completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Handle pre-matching of settlement instructions, and daily booking and settlement processes
- Liaise with internal teams and external counterparties to resolve trade and settlement issues
- Handle corporate actions announcements and process all entitlements
- Process IPO subscriptions, allotments, and refunds
- Arrange daily and monthly statement dispatches
- Participate in system modification and UAT testing
- Prepare daily and monthly reports for management
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and provide administrative support as required
- Support other ad-hoc projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Degree holder or above in Business / Finance / Accounting / Law or related disciplines
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in settlement/post-trade operations
- Conversant with CCASS / DCASS, SFC rules, and the SFO
- Familiar with market practices and related systems
- Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and thoroughness
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficient in PC skills, including Excel and MS Word
- Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
