Your new role

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications used by internal and external users.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and support.
• Build and enhance front-end interfaces and back-end services to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Collaborate closely with product, business, and technology teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and third-party services.
• Contribute to system architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Explore new technologies and best practices to improve development efficiency and product quality.

What you'll need to succeed

• Around 3 years of software development experience, either commercially or through substantial personal/open-source projects.
• Strong programming skills in Java and experience with modern backend frameworks.
• Exposure to front-end development using technologies such as React, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Understanding of databases, API development, and application integration.
• Exposure to tools and technologies such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Node.js, or Azure DevOps would be beneficial.
• Passion for technology and a strong willingness to learn and grow.
• Good communication skills in both English and Cantonese.
