Position Description
The PMO Analyst supports the governance, reporting, planning, and control of projects and programs across the organization. The role is responsible for maintaining project management standards, producing management reporting, tracking risks and issues, monitoring project performance, and ensuring compliance with PMO governance processes.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and maintenance of PMO governance methodologies and standards
- Ensure projects comply with approved project governance and reporting requirements.
- Monitor adherence to project management processes and escalate exceptions where required.
- Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly portfolio management reports.
- Consolidate project status updates, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and key decisions.
- Coordinate project meetings, steering committees, and governance forums.
- Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, action logs, and follow-up items.
- Provide regular updates to department heads and HQ
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in information technology, Business, or related discipline.
- 5-10 years’ experience with 2-3 years in IT project/PMO governance
- Excellent analytical skills, logic and numeracy
- Strong communicator, organized and methodical by nature
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience preparing management reports and dashboards.
- Strong understanding of PMO role & function
- Experience with project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid)
- Experience within financial services, banking, or securities industries
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a MUST
