About Our Client

Our client is a major public-sector institution with a mandate to maintain financial system resilience and support long-term market development. The organisation leads complex, multi-year programmes involving regulatory operations, data platforms, and technology modernisation.

Job Description

Oversee and support private cloud platforms, including compute, storage, load-balancing components, and related sub-systems
Carry out capacity planning, routine system maintenance, and patching activities to ensure optimal performance
Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues, responding to incidents and providing user support when required
Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, operational procedures, and disaster recovery guidelines
Contribute to infrastructure-related projects, technical evaluations, and proof-of-concept exercises
Support public cloud environments, including monitoring, deployment activities, and troubleshooting

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
At least 4 years of experience within the IT or infrastructure domain
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience supporting hardware, operating systems, and enterprise platforms, including technologies such as VMware, Cisco, Dell, NetApp, PureStorage, Microsoft, and Red Hat
VMware Certified Professional (VCP) in Data Center Virtualization is required
Additional certifications (e.g. VMware Cloud Management & Automation, Network Virtualization, Desktop & Mobility, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly regarded
