What You’ll Do

1. Live Environment Ownership: Provide mission-critical L1/L2/L3 support for trading systems, execution management systems, and live risk engines
2. Proactive SRE Culture: Drive the evolution from reactive support to proactive reliability engineering. Design, build, and maintain automated tools to eliminate manual toil and optimize system uptime.
3. Rapid Incident Response: Take immediate ownership of production bottlenecks, order routing anomalies, or market data drops during trading hours, minimizing financial risk under high-pressure scenarios.
4. Trader & Quant Partnership: Act as the primary technical point of contact for Portfolio Managers and Quantitative Researchers, delivering rapid solutions to execution or data queries.
5. Infrastructure Evolution: Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to deploy seamless system upgrades, capacity expansions, and low-latency network optimizations.

What We’re Looking For

1. Experience: 5+ years of production support or SRE experience within a Buy-side firm (Hedge Fund, Prop Trading) or Investment Bank front-office team.

2. Advanced proficiency in Linux/Unix environments (system internals, network performance tuning, and deep log diagnostics).
3. Scripting capabilities in Python and Bash
4. Solid database skills with the ability to query, analyze, and optimize complex SQL data structures
