The Product Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving investment revenue growth. This role focuses on proactively promoting investment products to both internal teams and clients. Success in this position requires deep product knowledge, exceptional communication skills, and a collaborative approach to achieve sales targets and optimizeclient portfolios.
Job Responsibilities
- Generate revenue from investment products including equity, fixed income, and managed solutions.
- Serve as a product expert for internal stakeholders, including Relationship Managers (RMs) and Investment Counsellors (ICs), supporting their sales efforts.
- Identify and promote investment products with relevant market insights, ensuring alignment with client objectives and risk profiles.
- Present investment products during investment meetings, educating RMs and ICs on their features, benefits, and market opportunities.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to understand new product launches and enhancements, effectively communicating updates to relevant parties.
- Monitor financial markets, industry trends, and new product developments to offer informed advice and maintain a competitive advantage.
- Ensure adherence to all external regulatory and internal compliance standards.
Job Requirements
- Degree holder in Finance, Business,or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in financial institutions, specializing in the sales and marketing of investment products, particularly equities and fixed income.
- Comprehensive knowledge of private banking investment products, including equities, fixed income, and structured products.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex investment concepts.
- Strong business acumen, capable of analyzing and interpreting financial data effectively.
- A collaborative team player who can work effectively with various internal stakeholders, even under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Qualified to conduct Investment regulated activities.
- Good written and verbal communication in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
