Job Description

The Finance Agentic Automation team is looking for an Agentic AI Product Owner to identify and deliver AI-driven solutions for complex Finance problems.

This role sits at the intersection of Agentic AI, software engineering, enterprise platforms, and Finance processes . You will work closely with business and technology teams to identify opportunities, define solutions, and drive them from idea to production and measurable business outcomes.

The role requires a strong understanding of Generative AI and Agentic AI , solid technical foundations, and the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive initiatives from problem definition through production adoption and measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritise Finance opportunities where Agentic AI and automation can create meaningful business value.
• Translate business problems into clear use cases, requirements, priorities and delivery plans.
• Shape solutions using LLMs, AI agents, tool/function calling, orchestration, RAG/retrieval, context management, evaluation and observability.
• Partner with engineering teams working across Java, Python, APIs, data, integrations and enterprise platforms.
• Evaluate solution options and make informed trade-offs across business value, technical feasibility, risk and scalability.
• Manage key dependencies, risks, blockers and decisions throughout delivery.
• Coordinate across Finance, engineering, product and platform teams to ensure effective execution.
• Ensure solutions meet expectations for security, reliability, maintainability, performance and production readiness.
• Define success measures and track adoption, effectiveness and business outcomes.
• Stay current with evolving Agentic AI capabilities and assess their relevance to Finance use cases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, technology product management, automation or related roles.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI and Agentic AI concepts, architectures and use cases.
• Working knowledge of Java and Python, with the ability to understand technical designs, code and system behaviour.
• Strong understanding of APIs, backend systems, integrations, data flows and distributed architectures.
• Familiarity with LLMs, agents, tool calling, orchestration, RAG, context/state management, evaluation and observability.
• Proven ability to solve complex, cross-functional business and technology problems.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to create structure when requirements or solutions are unclear.
• Strong execution and stakeholder management skills across business and technology teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High degree of ownership, curiosity, judgment and accountability.
