Looking for a seasoned static data/reference data professional who will work with the Portfolio Solutions and Global Treasury Database Management teams to support the creation, maintenance, and governance of client, counterparty, account, security, settlement instructions, and related reference data across State Street Markets Operations products and platforms.



Respond to e-mail inquiries accurately and in a timely manner. Escalate and report issues, including systems related issues to the appropriate groups, track and ensure resolution.



Ensure that all activities are executed correctly and timely, including any appropriate actions are taken to resolve issues.

The PS and GT DBM teams play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of static and reference data that supports trading, settlement, regulatory reporting, and client servicing activities globally.

What you will be responsible for



As Officer you will

• Oversee, direct and coordinate activities of the Markets Operations Database Management team including:

- Client/Counterparty Account Setup



- Security/Instrument Setup and Maintenance



- Standing Settlement Instruction (SSI) Setup and Maintenance



- Regulatory Reporting Data Support



- Misc Static data maintenance

• Act as a key point of contact for the North America leads to ensure appropriate prioritization, high level or support and timely resolution of open items,


• Help monitor KPIs and KRIs to ensure a high level of service


• Track and monitor potential issues and delays


• Address unique and challenging situations


• Evaluate and enhance processes and procedures on an ongoing basis


• Ensure accuracy of accounts set up in transaction systems and client static data


• Maintain strong working relationships with Regional team leads


• Participate in the enhancement and maintenance of internal systems for workflow management and data storage


• Resolve and escalate request specific and systematic issues proactively and in a timely fashion


• Manage staff turnover and employee onboarding/training time


• Coordinate Internal and External Audit / SOX /Compliance reviews


• Coordinate system access and access reviews


• Ensure the completeness control check for the day are done before leaving

• Demonstrated people leadership experience with responsibility for managing teams, driving performance, fostering talent development, and building a strong risk and control culture.


• Must be open to working in North America (NAM) shift hours and supporting global stakeholders across multiple regions.


• 8+ years of experience in business or systems analysis, or as a key business resource on systems projects, preferably at a financial institution.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate and above preferably in Finance


• B.COM, BBM/BBA. MBA (Finance), M.COM or any degree related to Finance or Commerce

Additional requirements:

• Certification on NCFM / CISI (Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment)


• Knowledge on Macros, SQL & MS Access Database queries
