Key Responsibilities:

Designing electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities, including power distribution (low and medium voltage), emergency power systems, and load calculations.
Creating one-line drawings, motor schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Performing design calculations for transformers, emergency generators, UPS, battery systems, cables, and lighting systems.
Preparing cable schedules and panel board schedules.
Developing plans for grounding, cable trays, power, duct banks, area classification, and lighting.
Creating technical specifications and datasheets for major electrical equipment.
Conducting technical bid evaluations and reviewing vendor drawings.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across multiple offices for project execution and to ensure standard compliance.
Innovating and improving electrical engineering design practices.
Ensuring quality assurance, adherence to project schedules, and meeting client requirements.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering.

Experience Required: 6 to 9 years.

Skills Required:

Knowledge of NEC, NFPA and U.S. local codes and standards.
Proficiency in Revit, and AutoCAD for electrical design and coordination.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
Experience on U.S. based EPC or design-build projects is preferred.
