Equity Trade Management Specialist
Who we are looking for
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic and growing asset management
company as a member of our trade processing team. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to
work autonomously, demonstrating initiative and self-direction in their tasks. Strong problem-solving
skills are essential.
The role also requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage
relationships and expectations internally and externally.
Why this role is important to us
The Equities Trade Management Team support Investments with the trading process and act as an
intermediary between the Front Office and the Back office functions. The team monitor and oversee
the Trade Matching and Settlement process for all Equity transactions including Convertible Bonds
and ETF. This is a highly visible & key role in the organisation to ensure that investment decisions are
accurately and timely actioned in the market.
What you will be responsible for
• Liaise directly with brokers and custodians to resolve trade-related issues
• Collaborate with traders/front office to escalate issues with counterparties as needed
• Monitor trade settlement status and investigate any discrepancies with counterparties
• Work with Compliance, Risk, Client Service, and other internal teams to address time-sensitive
trade flow queries
• Actively participating in the mitigation of operational risks associated with trade processing
• Build and maintain strong relationships with all counterparties in the trade life cycle
• Contribute to internal and external third-party reviews to discuss and resolve issues
• Investigate and resolve interest claims arising from trade flow problems
• Process improvement and identifying opportunities for enhancements, automation and risk
mitigation

Education & Preferred Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience and relevant qualifications
• Previous experience in Trade Matching and Settlement role with good knowledge of swift and
settlement workflows
• An understanding of the lifecycle of a trade
• Knowledge of ALERT and CTM desirable
• Fluent English - French an added benefit (not a requirement)
