Job Description
You will perform activities within the Technical Accounting Team in respect of SGRF/SI business including affiliate, retro, direct business, and any new business set up that requires administration on the technical accounting system, Omega. Graduate will also provide support to the intern on the technical accounting team

Responsibilities
As a valued member of our Technical Accounting team, you'll gain exposure to a wide range of financial and operational activities, including:
- Tracking and monitoring client receipts and payments
- Processing cash settlements and reconciliations
- Supporting quarterly financial close activities through reporting and analysis
- Preparing and posting accounting journal entries
- Monitoring treaty reporting and investigating discrepancies
- Maintaining and enhancing process documentation
- Supporting internal controls by preparing and uploading audit evidence
- Participating in audit activities, including Iberian deal audits
- Assisting with the administration of reinsurance business within our Omega system
- Supporting and collaborating with the team's intern
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and special projects

Qualifications

- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or another analytical discipline
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to manage your own workload and take ownership of tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn
