Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth credit analysis of securitization transactions, assessing complex investment structures and developing clear risk profiles.
- Lead evaluation panels and facilitate discussions on portfolio performance, credit quality, and potential risks.
- Independently review sophisticated investment structures and translate complex financial information into actionable credit insights.
- Research market and sector developments and produce comprehensive industry publications covering relevant trends.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with external investors and corporate issuers.
- Mentor junior team members, sharing expertise and contributing to the development of the wider credit analysis team.
- 5-7 years of professional experience in corporate banking, securitization, structured credit, or a closely related field.
- Strong understanding of global capital markets and the ability to assess complex financial and investment structures.
- Fundamental understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its potential applications within Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
- Bachelor's degree.
- Excellent analytical ability, with the capacity to turn complex financial data into clear, logical insights.
- Strong communication skills for leading discussions and engaging effectively with investors, issuers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deliver high-quality work within demanding deadlines.
- Ability to mentor junior colleagues and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
- Japanese: Native level.
- English: Advanced business level for communication in an international financial environment.
- Strong knowledge of structured credit, asset-backed securities, securitization, and institutional credit risk analysis.
- Experience engaging directly with external investors and corporate issuers.
- Ability to contribute to market research and thought leadership on financial sector and capital market trends.
- Interest in applying emerging technologies and data-driven solutions to credit risk and compliance activities.
