About the Role
Our client is seeking an entrepreneurial, self-directed technical expert who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is singularly focused on delivering a seamless, top-tier technology experience across the entire firm—including traders, engineers, and senior leadership.
As anEnd User Support Engineer , you will provide end-to-end technical support and administration across all internal software, hardware, and connectivity solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue Resolution: Identify, diagnose, research, track, and resolve complex technical problems across hardware, operating systems, user accounts, trading environments, and mobility.
- Executive & Trader Support: Deliver white-glove customer service and technical assistance to high-performing business teams, traders, and senior leadership.
- Incident Management: Escalate, coordinate, and manage response workflows for critical, firm-wide technical incidents.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with third-party vendors, global infrastructure groups, and business IT teams to modernize, scale, and improve core technology infrastructure.
- Environment Expertise: Maintain a senior-level understanding of our specialized trading and enterprise technology ecosystem.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 4+ years of technical and functional support experience in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
- OS & Mobility Expertise: Expert knowledge of Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android platforms.
- Device Management: Expert knowledge of MDM enrollment, corporate device management, and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) frameworks.
- Core Infrastructure & Networking: Functional knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Exchange, TCP/IP, and VPN configurations.
- Collaboration Tools: Hands-on experience troubleshooting enterprise messaging, video conferencing (e.g., WebEx, MS Teams, Zoom), and AV/conference room setups.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across all seniority levels.
