A leading international law firm is growing its corporate notarial team in Amsterdam, and this is a rare chance to join at a formative moment. You'll work side by side with two experienced partner notaries on complex, cross-border transactions for an international client base.
This is not a back-office notarial role. You'll be close to the deal from structuring through to signing and completion, with real responsibility from day one. You'll work in a small, high-calibre team where your input is visible and your development is a priority.
What you'll be doing
- M&A: Supporting cross-border acquisitions, investments and disposals, including the notarial and corporate law side of each deal
- Restructurings: Mergers, demergers, conversions and internal reorganisations for international groups
- Deal structuring: Helping to shape transaction structures with the partners and the wider deal team
- Financings: Preparing and executing share pledges and related security in connection with financing transactions
- Corporate housekeeping and governance: Advising international clients on their Dutch entities, from incorporations to ongoing governance
- Documentation: Drafting and reviewing articles of association, shareholders' agreements, resolutions and corporate filings
What you'll bring
- A candidate-notary or associate background in corporate notarial work at a larger firm or a well-regarded boutique
- Solid experience in M&A, corporate reorganisations and corporate housekeeping
- Experience with share pledges and financing-related notarial work (a strong plus)
- A track record on international matters and comfort working with foreign clients and counsel
- An excellent academic record and a sharp, precise approach to drafting
- Fluent Dutch and English
- Amsterdam-based, or ready to be
On experience level: The firm is open to a range of profiles. Quality, judgement and attention to detail matter more than years of experience.
