About the Role



We're looking for a
Linux System Admin Team Lead to lead day-to-day support operations during your shift while providing hands-on technical support to our global customers.



You'll help prioritize the team's workload, resolve technical issues, manage major incidents, and contribute to improving our support processes as the team continues to grow.




What You'll Do

• Lead shift operations and ensure customer issues are handled within agreed SLAs.


• Plan and prioritize the team's workload, providing guidance and support when needed.


• Provide hands-on technical support across Linux and Windows environments.


• Monitor customer software, servers, and cloud infrastructure, troubleshooting and escalating issues as required.


• Coordinate the response to major or high-priority incidents.


• Support software deployments, maintenance activities, and new projects.


• Maintain clear support documentation and help improve team processes and monitoring.


• Coach and support team members while promoting a collaborative and customer-focused environment.


• Communicate with customers through email, phone, and chat, ensuring a positive support experience.

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of experience in IT operations or technical support, with hands-on Linux experience.


• Previous experience leading, mentoring, or supporting a technical team is highly desirable.


• Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and firewalls.


• Experience troubleshooting technical issues in server or infrastructure environments.


• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.


• Good written and verbal English communication skills and confidence working with customers.


• Ability to remain organized and make sound decisions in a fast-paced support environment.

Nice to Have



Experience with any of the following is an advantage, but
you don't need to know them all :

• Monitoring tools such as Nagios, CheckMK, Prometheus, or Grafana


• Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP


• Docker or Kubernetes


• Windows Server


• Bash, Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages


• CouchDB


• ZFS, DRBD, RAID, LVM, CEPH, or similar storage technologies


• Security-sensitive environments
