What the day will look like
You will work closely with the EMEA Central Compliance Director and colleagues across the region, managing a team of skilled Compliance Managers and acting as a key advisor on regulatory matters.
- Anticipate, analyse and help Aon respond to regulatory and legislative change across EMEA
- Translate regulatory expectations into clear business requirements, policies and procedures
- Provide timely, consistent compliance advice to business stakeholders and risk/compliance partners
- Coordinate and maintain core elements of Aon's Compliance framework, including registers and sign-offs
- Prepare and review materials for regulators (e.g. FCA reporting) and for senior partners, boards and committees
- Coordinate with Compliance colleagues across EMEA to ensure aligned policies, training and documentation

This role places you at the centre of how a major, globally recognised firm manages compliance for its EMEA insurance, pensions and investments businesses. Based in our growing Krakow hub, you will:
- Work closely with Risk & Compliance Business Partners and front-line business leaders across multiple countries and lines of business
- Collaborate with shared services teams such as Operations and Finance to design and embed compliant processes
- Act as a trusted advisor on regulatory questions, influencing policy, process design and reporting to boards and committees
- Lead and develop a high-performing compliance team, with access to Aon's global knowledge network and deep regulatory expertise

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Solid experience in compliance, regulatory or risk roles, ideally within financial services and/or with EU regulatory frameworks
- Proven ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements in a commercial environment
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing or coaching professionals in a matrix or international setting
- Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills in English, with the ability to simplify complex issues for different stakeholders
- A proactive, structured and collaborative working style, with high integrity and comfort handling confidential information
