Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Payments & Operations (Singapore Branch), the incumbent will be expected to perform the following tasks:-

1. Responsible for attending to queries and resolving issues from all the Front Office units
2. Responsible for SWIFT RMA setup, SAP BCA static setup and Murex static setup
3. Responsible for clearing sanction hits for incoming and outgoing payment messages
4. Ensure all payments from TPH/Murex are validated successfully for accurate daily nostro reporting to the Treasury department
5. Responsible for all current account activities and accurate generation and delivery of daily advice/monthly statements
6. Responsible for accurate submission of DTCC MAS regulatory Trades Reporting
7. Proactively identify areas for change in daily workflow to achieve maximum efficiency
8. Prior experience in local payments clearing with GIRO/FAST/MEPS will be advantageous
9. Actively take part in systems enhancement and ad hoc projects

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field of study
2. 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in treasury operations and payments in a Bank
3. Fresh graduates with prior relevant internship experience or a passion for payments and banking operations are also welcome to apply
4. High sense of urgency
5. Meticulous and strong attention to details
6. Independently motivated and capable of driving system changes and enhancements
7. Ability to work under high levels of pressure and meet short deadlines
8. ‘Can-do’ attitude as both the team and the Bank are constantly upgrading to operate on the optimum level of effectiveness and efficiency
