Reporting to the Global General Counsel, you will provide practical, business-focused legal advice across a broad spectrum of commercial and corporate matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a generalist lawyer looking to work closely with senior stakeholders and business leaders in a dynamic international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a wide range of commercial agreements, including supply, distribution, procurement, logistics, manufacturing, services, confidentiality, and licensing agreements.
- Provide strategic legal support to business units.
- Advise on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters affecting the business.
- Support contract management processes and drive legal best practices across the organization.
- Partner with internal stakeholders on business initiatives, projects, and commercial transactions.
- Assist in managing disputes, claims, litigation, and external counsel where required.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments and assess their impact on the business.
- Deliver legal training and increase awareness of compliance and risk management frameworks.
- Support M&A, corporate restructuring, and integration projects as required.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with5-7 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) .
- Experience gained from a reputable law firm and/or multinational corporation.
- Strong generalist commercial legal background with proven contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- Exposure to manufacturing, chemicals, industrial, engineering, energy, or related sectors would be advantageous.
