Senior Data Engineer | Investment Data Platform
Join a high-impact engineering team building the enterprise investment data platform that powers data-driven decision-making across a leading global investment firm.
What you'll do:
- Design, build, and enhance scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions supporting investment professionals across the business.
- Develop modern data platforms using Databricks , AWS , Python, PySpark, SQL, DBT, and Airflow.
- Lead end-to-end delivery in an Agile/DevSecOps environment, leveraging GitHub, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Drive best practices in data architecture, governance, data quality, and lakehouse design.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders and mentor engineers to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
What we're looking for:
- 8+ years of hands-on data engineering experience , ideally within financial services, asset management, or other data-intensive environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Databricks and AWS or Azure or GCP is essential.
- Proven experience with Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, SQL, DBT, Pandas, and modern data engineering frameworks.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and Terraform.
- Knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong system design, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
