Leading investment firm / diversified conglomerate (this is a buyside role)
Permanent headcount based in Singapore
Sector agnostic

Responsibilities:

Originate, evaluate and execute strategic investments across Asia-Pacific.
Assess strategic fit, commercial attractiveness and investment rationale
Conduct financial modelling, projections and valuation analyses
Lead due diligence, transaction structuring and coordination with external advisers through signing and closing
Prepare Investment Committee and senior management materials, drive internal approval processes
Support post-investment governance, monitoring and long-term value creation
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of sector developments, market trends, and competitor activity

Profile of Ideal Candidate:

Bachelor's degree in any discipline
5-10 years of relevant experience in Private Equity, Strategic Investing, Corporate Development, Investment Banking
Strong technical skills, M&A track record, commercial judgment, ownership, and an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and originate investment opportunities
Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across cultures, functions and seniority levels, with a genuine interest in long-term strategic investing and business building
Excellent research and analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and external stakeholders
