Responsibilities:
- Oversee compliance with relevant AML regulations (MAS 314) and expectations.
- Align internal AML policies and procedures with external regulatory requirements as necessary.
- Offer AML advisory support to various business units.
- Conduct AML Compliance Assurance to confirm adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Regularly review and update AML policies, manuals, and procedures.
- Monitor AML activities undertaken by Group entities.
- Execute enterprise-wide AML risk assessments and enhance the existing framework.
- Perform quality assurance and control on Know-Your-Client and Transaction Surveillance activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10-15 years' experience in AML policy development.
- Strong familiarity with relevant MAS regulatory requirements and the ability to translate these into operational processes.
- Proven ability to enhance and streamline workflows and assess control effectiveness.
- Demonstrated initiative and strong people management skills.
- Proficient in navigating complex organizational structures and technical understanding of AML systems.
- Familiarity with AI and past experience with regulatory bodies will be an advantage.
