• The minimum gross monthly base salary for this position is from € 2,500. The final offer could be higher to reflect the candidate’s experience, skills, and overall fit for the role. As a Data Engineer, you will build and operate pipelines for your client's data platform in a regulated financial services environment. You will connect priority sources to the Azure Databricks Bronze layer, transform data into your client Enterprise Data Model / Silver layer and prepare data for APIs, Power BI, analytics and AI. You will work with architects, business teams and governance functions to deliver transparent, high-quality and reusable solutions.

• You support agile delivery of data-engineering solutions from functional requirements and source analysis through development, testing, deployment and operational handover


• You implement ingestion and onboarding of priority data sources into the Azure Databricks (Bronze layer) and build transformations into your client Enterprise Data Model (Silver layer)


• You implement source-to-target mappings, business rules and use-case-specific pre- and post-processing while maintaining efficient, traceable and reusable pipelines


• You apply data-quality, metadata and lineage requirements and work with Okta access-management and Microsoft Purview data-governance controls as part of platform delivery


• You support the lifecycle of data products and their consumption through APIs / MCP interfaces, Power BI and other approved use cases, including defect resolution and operational support

• You have a successfully completed university degree, for example in computer science, business information systems, engineering, natural sciences or a comparable discipline


• You have practical experience developing data pipelines and data-platform solutions, ideally in regulated financial services, banking or asset-management environments


• You bring at least three years of relevant development experience with SQL and good Python skills, together with hands-on experience in data transformation and integration


• You have hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and data-lake / data-warehouse concepts, including Bronze / Silver processing and enterprise data models


• You understand APIs and MCP interfaces and can work with data-governance requirements covering access controls, Microsoft Purview data-loss prevention, metadata, lineage and data quality


• You have experience analysing legacy or heterogeneous source data, translating business rules into technical transformations and supporting reusable data products for reporting, analytics or AI;


• Fluency English (German is a big advantage)
